Rockingham SHS Education Support Centre hosted its annual Awards Presentation Ceremony on Friday 30 October 2020 at the Gary Holland Community Centre. Staff, parents, friends and special guests joined students in celebrating the year and a special Valedictory for the Year 12 students. With social distancing, good hand hygiene and elbow bumps the morning was a great success and enjoyed by all who attended.
The Awards Ceremony is a chance to celebrate student’s strengths accomplishments and hard work throughout the year. Given the year we have had with the Covid Pandemic, all students and staff have stepped up and put in their best efforts, it is very rewarding to see. Congratulations to Year 12, Damien Lumley for winning the DUX Award and for a brilliant Valedictory speech.
